One-on-One Consulting Sessions
Laura specializes in functional medicine/nutrition. Functional medicine is defined as working to identify and treat the cause of a condition rather than silence the symptoms—focusing on improving the health and wellness of the whole person instead of a quick fix with medication—which may contribute to additional health issues by causing side effects. Laura treats the body as a whole, discovering the imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, and metabolic dysfunction that regulate your system and are all too often overlooked in a standard model of health care. By strategic use of laboratory assessments, food-as-medicine, mind-body counseling, and pharmaceutical-grade nutritional supplementation, we can address and correct these underlying issues to promote better health and functionality. Working with a functional dietitian can help you achieve wellness with natural disease prevention to improve conditions, reduce medications, and ultimately restore balance within your body!

Laura works with clients locally, online, and by phone nationwide.

Although food can be medicine for maintaining optimal health and preventing disease, when we are coming from a state of depletion or increased need, nutritional supplementation is often necessary.
Laura has chosen only pharmaceutical-grade supplements from the top manufacturers in the industry to support your treatment plan and maintain optimal health and vitality. The lines carried by Laura Mangum RD, LD are only available to medical practitioners due to their potency. The supplement industry available to the public is not regulated by the FDA or an external regulatory party, so we want to use caution when purchasing over-the-counter supplements.
This is the ultimate personalized nutritionist experience, right in your own kitchen! During a Kitchen Cleanse, Laura will assess and help you to improve on the food products and brands you’re consuming, how you’re preparing your meals, the resources you have access to, and any factors within your home environment that may be compromising your health goals.
This service is particularly popular among those who are time-poor, lack interest in cooking, or feel overwhelmed by the thought of changing their current lifestyle.
